auditions for a prestigious ballet company.

The narrative feature length screenplay called: “Pirouette.”
A Greek immigrant leaves her family to study ballet in 1950s Melbourne where she fights
to keep her head above water in the face of rampant prejudice and her father’s ailing health back at home.
”Pirouette” was a semi-finalist at the Queensland Screenwriting Awards at the Gold Coast Film Festival and
Outstanding Feature Screenplay Competition, top 50 at Launch Pad Feature Competition,
received an honourable mention at the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition,
and a finalist in the Bondi Screenplay Competition and Script Summit. It was
also selected for the Stowe Story Labs Remote Writer’s Retreat 2023.
